WHAT! You went over my Helmet!
i was in pets at home at the weekend in Inverness, they had about six bala sharks all about 4 inches long in this tiny tank which was ( I would say, about 12 inches square) they had a couple of other fish in it too but I cant remember what they where.
One of the Balas was just about dead and its tail fin was covered in a white fungus type thing.
When I mentioned to the guy about them in the tank he said that they were being treated and they weren't for sale. I then was thinking that surely if there are sick, putting them in a tiny tank would only make the disease worse and add to the stress.
All the Balas were clambering up at the corner of the tank, I was quite shocked by it because usually they are very good with their fish. But the usual staff I have seen there haven't been in for a while and there is a different guy there now.
