i hear people condem all pet stores for fish keeping but if so wheres a good place to buy fish ?

is dobbies any good ?

i think dobbies are good lol. i dont see any dead ones. depends what dobbies i suppose. the one i go to is in dinnington, chesterfield.
also, i think other garden centres are good. i usually get the most advice in garden centres (aquatic departments) and they ask tank size etc to make sure you arent getting fish waay to big for the aquarium. :)

oo if so anyone own a friendly private store in merseyside area ?

looking for corys and rasbora that arent scissortails

What would be your local Dobbies store then if your from liverpool?

the one in souhtport is the local for me

dobbies in southport is good if you speek to the fellas who know what they are talking about (think his name was chris, a scouse lad)

you also got madenhead aquatics at sefton medows (trewlani ???) garden centre .. and im sure there is a good lfs in bootle, not sure where though
Pier aquatics in wigan is realy good if you fance going that far.

There is mean't to be a good store in the Wirral isn't there? (Just checks sat nav with fish shops stored as POI's  ) ok I think on Beaconsfield Road, Andy's Aqautics? Never been but heard somewhere it is pretty good.

There is also a Maidenhead at Widnes which isn't too far... Again I have never been.
