LFS in Newcastle

Hoping someone in the North East of England can tell me the best lfs. I currently use 2 lfs but neither of them come up to scratch. I live in Newcastle but i am willing to travel within reason.

Hey, I am in Newcastle!!

I have not found any good places nearby I am afraid to say . I in fact, only know of 2 and one of them I would never go to again (dunno if you know Betta Aquaria in Byker?).

I'd be interested to see if anyone knows any. I get all my fish mail order from Trimar

hey you 2 if you want good fish in Newcastle check you pm I got my endlers from a bloke in Newcastle it is not a lfs but he dose breed and sell gr8 fish send him an email

I would never, never go there ever again.

As far as I am aware, there are no good LFSs ion Newcastle. I get my fish online and I got my discus from a breeder in Shields. I bought my fish fish from Pets At Home in Gateshead though.

Have you tried Monument Aquatics in Washington? There also fish available in Peter Barratts at Gosforth Park and in Heighley Gate in Morpeth. HTH

I too live in the toon.

I think the one in Byker is ok. havnt bought fish from there yet though
Apparantly Shaws )garden centre) in Cramlington is good
Peter Barrats is supposed to be cack all my mates fishes died from there he spent a bomb on them.
I dont like Heighly Gate. They have dead fish all over the place and I dont like the way they keep their fighting fish. they have one on the desk that is kept in a wine glass thing. I know you do it for shows and that, I just dont like it. And they have this cascading tank thing with lots of different levels with goldfish in and kids can get a hold of the fish

so, apart from that. There's one in Jarrow that i've passed by but never been in
