Been in Devon for a week..checked out local aquatic centres...Creature Comforts in Bideford 
2 red vts, not too bad, 1 blue think ct bad white spot, 3 girls very stressed and almost dead..I would have had the blue but no white spot stuff with me and he was really bad. Went back 3 days later still got the reds, the blue was even worse and the girls had all gone. Most of the tanks had dead or dying fish in them my son made me come out of shop before I said something. Found an aquatic centre in a garden centre, one betta same as my Koi but looked more like a ct with nibbled fins. chap said they had had him weeks, no one liked the colour....I left him there he looked ok but a bit scrawny. I did miss my fish everytime I saw a rock pool I was thinking "my bettas would like to be in there"

There was a ct in my lfs with velvet for like 3-4 months and no one bought it. Really felt sorry for it. =/.
