I tested my hardness etc on the 10/11/2005 and KH was 6,GH 12 and pH 7.5 This gave a CO2 level of 6 mg/l, which on the chart says thats ok.

Now I tested them again today and KH 11, GH 15 and pH 7.8. This give CO2 8mg/l which the chart says is too much (not in the white section)

Now I couldnt work out why the hardness had gone up, so I tested tap water and that was KH 10 and GH 15. Ph 7.2.

So what would have made the hardness go down???

Also I havnt seen many bubbles of O2 off my plants lately, but isnt the level very high, so they should be??

What you all recon........?

Lighting is about 1.6WPG.
CO2 im using is CO2.

According to my little co2 indicator i've not enough co2, but according to hardness/ph its too high.
And i dont know whats effected the hardness.
