I have a 10G QT that I have had a gourami on the mend in for about 2 months now. He was hiding and whatnot - I believe it may have been gill flukes. He's done much better after being treated with parasite clear.
I just noticed that he has a few very subtle white filmy areas on various parts of his body. He's not hiding any more, but he does park on the bottom a lot. He doesn't seem to be eating today, though he did yesterday.
I also have a platie who is fairly new, and was really healthy when I first brought him home. Now, though, he won't eay and has found a crevice in a piece of driftwood and just lays in there on the wood. His gills seem to be big, kind of open. I'm wondering if they are gill flukes too.
The stats are good - o ammonia, 0 nitrite, 10 nitrates. I do about 30% water changes per week using prime dechlor.
I have recently treated them with parasite clear.
There are 1 gourami, and 2 platies in the tank.
Any ideas what is wrong with them?
