how would i go about finding some altums of leopolds? ive also heard of another wild strain of angels that have normal patterns but red finned? i just wanted to try something a bit more challenging than scalare?

I have been looking for the same type of fish. Your best time to find these wild angels is october-march, which is basically the dry season in south america give or take a month. The water is lower during this time meaning collecters can catch fish. For good quality wild angels you will have to look around, search the internet and every fish shop you can. If you are a member of a fish club they may be able to help you locate them or get u young from wild spawns.
I saw some decent wild scalare at Maidenhean aquatics @ Wimbledon 2 weeks ago, give them a bell.

Your best beat is probably Altums. Leopoldi are very from what I understand, extremely hard to find. Not 100% sure where you can find them in the UK, but I know a guy in the US. Unfortunately I don't think he does international shipping.

Could try this site: http://colombianfish.com/stocklist.html Number 120.
