I second that... I used to feed thawed out, frozen blood worms to my zebra danios, bettas and even my ghost shrimp. That was a year ago and, never mind the headache of constantly ( 3 times a week) changing the water due to cloudiness and murky water, they were always sick.
I can't stress enough that even though any fish, invertebrate, etc. loves the bloodworms, they are soaked in blood which is one of the most potent chemicals for bacteria, parasites and other life forms to survive in.
After restarting all my aquariums fresh with new health animals...
I decided to throw away all my frozen blood worms and invested in freeze dried bloodworms which are fed 1once a week or twice a month purely as a treat.
P.S. All my other fish died and the new guys arent't doing too bad.
