Ok, So my leopard danio just died, he was fine early yesterday, but went downhill fast from there. He died this afternoon. At first he stopped eating, then he hid in the back of my tank behind a plant, then pooped out white feces, and eventually there was blood spots all over and inside his body(mainly in is stomach/chest area.) There was nothing I could do. What caused this??? Are my other fish (some zebra danios, tiger barbs, and a dwarf gourami) in danger??? I have some ick/parasites medicine but thats it. Should I treat the tank anyway with that even though no other fish appear to have any problems? :(

White stringy poo is a sign of an internal parasite. Since it was internal, its harder to notice right away because there's hardly any outward defects. Look for these signs to see if its spread to your fish:
-Rapid or heavy breathing. Some parasites will attack the gills before any can be seen on the fins or body, and the fish may die from suffocation.
-Scratching: constantly rubbing against objects in the tank and looks like it is trying to dislodge something.
-Lethargic: fish laying about, secluding themselves in the corners, fins retracted.

Don't treat the tank with ich meds. It will stress out your other fish and its medicine not designed for the cause either.

Well, the medicine says it treasts most cases of ich AND parasites within 24 hours. So maby I should? :/

Hmm, now it looks like one of my larger Zebra danio has a raised white spot on his back. I don't like the looks of it.

hi
internal bacteria is NOT a parasite! so ich & parasite meds will not do any good and may as said cause more harm than good. you can buy specific medication for internal/bacterial infections & that is the only thing that should be used for suspected bacterial infections.
the exact type of meds available to you depend on what country you are from.

what does your other danios raised spot look like?? size etc??? ich looks like sprinkled grains of salt on the fish no bigger.

Its hard to describe, its almost looks like one larger grain of salf on its back. Its white in color.

So you mean blood spots on his belly as that is septicemia.
