I have 2 leopard Ctenopoma in my 55 gallon community tank. does anyone know how large they get? the store said aprox. 6 inches, but if anyone has had them and has experience with them, I'd be grateful to hear your input.

6-8 inches is right although growth slows down as they reach maturity. Mine are 4-5" now and I've had them 18 months or so. They will see small fish as food though mine are with praecox rainbows I wouldn't add anything smaller.
