Leeches ?

ive just put some plants in my tank (2 hours ago)
and now their is a 2cm black and silver leech looking thing in my tank
does it matter ?

Incidentally, I was eating a salad the other day and I looked down and there was a see-through leech standing up on my lettuce leaf, waving its-self around in the air. Barf.

im sure it came in with some potted plant's that i got
and i still cant find the little sucker

I've found them on live plants from time to time. I squish them when I find them. I should probably worry about them more than I do but I figure the fishes will eat them...probably not though probably the other way around.

My god I'm now afraid of buying live plants. How did the leeches get in the tanks at your fs. I know that they probably did from the plants that got shiped to them but how did they get in those tanks?
