not sure if this is where this belongs, but i dont know where else to post wild creatures.

a few months ago i threw some anarchisand some red cherry shrimp in a 10 gallon to start a colony of shrimp. kept light on 10 hours and did maybe 2 water changes in 3 months. pretty much i left it alone.

i thinned out the 20 inch long anarchis and left only a few. now there all kinds of things. ramshorn snails, pond snails, 50-100 shrimp. but thats all i can identify

what i cant identify are...my question...

-small, less than 1 mm, worms on sides of glass, white
-a leech looking worm that is transparant and extends from 3-4 mm to 10-12 mm
-little circle swimming dots
-some kind of bug, looks like a curved flea

anyone help me out?

i tryed to get pics but my cam wont focus that small.

Planaria are not parasitic so should not affect your fish... HOWEVER, they indicate a bigger problem with your tank.

Planaria usually turn up in a combination of over feeding, deep gravel and not vacuuming the gravel.

Suggest gravel vacuum one per day and 20% water change ever 2 days. Take the gravel vacuum water and drop it into a white plastic bowl, take a peek and you will see loads of em, yuk!

So how do I know? Well I'm in exactly the same boat mate, I think my clown loaches are eating them but can't be sure

Without hijacking this thread, can anyone let me know if clown loaches eat planaria?

well see the most i feed it once a week. and since the tank was left alone for almost 3 months it got overgrown and i never ever vacumed it yet! lol i cant really vacume it cause the shrimp the babys are small.. and i dont want to lose any. at least its not parasitic. thats a good sign.

Cyclops are fine, the fishes should eat them, same goes for the daffnia.

Ive also had planarian, mine where introduced when I added plants from a wild pond, its really hard to get rid of, ive completly dissmantled the tank and was very carful not to cross contaminate my other tanks.
