Leaking Filter

Hi folkes, I have an Interpet external filter running on my 300l tank (also has an internal filter) but came downstairs this morning to find the tank half empty and a nasty electrical smell!!

It seems we had a short power cut in the night and whenever the power shuts off to the external filter water pours out between the hood and box of the filter.

Has anyone got any ideas please? I know this should be in the DIY section but that forum wouldn't let me post a new topic, plus it is a sort of emergency.

Don't worry I've found the answer. Broken seal which Interpet don't make or replace anymore, great!! Oh well, it's a new filter then, more money.
