Leader Of The Fishes

Er this has kind of snuck up on me, I have no idea how I've managed to amass 999 posts on this forum since I joined back in December 

 
I guess my next post will make me a Leader of the Fishes and I know it doesn't mean anything but it struck me that newbies might use post count and forum titles to judge how knowledgeable someone is.
 
I feel a bit uncomfortable with it lol, I'm not a leader of anything, I'm still a newbie!  I'm pretty sure most of those 999 posts have been me asking for advice!
 
I noticed over on Ukaps they have an 'Expert' tag in addition to their moderator tags and forum titles.  Just a thought but it might be a nice idea to have something similar here to identify members who are respected for their in-depth knowledge?
 
Anyway just for the record... I'd rather be a fish addict or fanatic than 'Leader'

How many posts is it when you can change your title? I know I've changed mine.

For now, the number is 2500 to change your title.
However, I am working on changing these. I actually agree with the point being made here. This is something I've been meaning to change and just haven't gotten around to.
 
I have also considered a "trusted member" tag but haven't thought that one out fully.

I got my custom title at 1000 posts, But it quickly changed after.

Just post 1500 more times. Then you can change it to whatever you want.
I didn't know that posts in BA&S didn't Count towards post count.

Well, personally, I have always believed (and told people!) that anyone who claims to be an expert... simply isn't and very likely has far too high an opinion of themselves. A real "expert" understands that they can never know everything and will never stop learning, even if they know a lot.
