Hi;
I have 3 male Jamaican blue guppies they seem pretty inactive/lazy; Ive had them about a month; they just seem to hover in the water and not swim around (they dont seem to sit on the gravel, as opposed to hovering around various points in the tank (i.e. not resting on anything)); is this normal for guppies. They do swim when there is food around lol.
I am considering getting a heater for their tank; their tank is around 20oC (but I was told they can be kept in cold water aquariums) and some females IF I can get hold of some. Do you think itll improve them or do you think the females will be the same? Would some fancy male guppies (with a heater of course) be of more benefit?
Thanks
EDIT: All water stats are fine; and there doesn’t appear to be anything wrong with the guppies themselves – they swim away from the net fast enough haha.
