Lazy Ass Betta

Is it just my betta, or are theyall bone idle lazy arses!

He just lounges around on all the plants all day watching the tv (typical man!) yet when theres food around, it's like someone has stuck a rocket up his bum.

Are everyone elses man bettas like this, or is it just my sloth?

Most of ours are in divided tanks so they spend most of their time strutting their stuff up and down the dividers.........................

......well, when they're not eating

He does have a flare at his own reflection (a bit like a bloke checking himself out in the mirror) but he's my only one, so he's the stud of the house.

mine spends all day stalking the Goldies in the other tank, he rdoesn't settle down til lights out

I just bought my first betta today - and was amazed at how inquisitive he was - I expected him to sit in a corner for the next few days and look darn right misserable, but I was wrong within two minutes he had checked out every inch of his new home!

I tried the food thing too! yup he just went crazy for it as if the LFS had never fed him - It would seem to be a common thing for bettas to be greedy! (I can't comment on the human species because I am one and it would be two faced lol)
