Laying Eggs!

got a pair of cichlids laying aggs and takeing them in to ther mouth!! how long from when they stop shud i see babies? shud i put the fish with the eggs in a breeding thing? that floats? i want to try let the fish grow!

I have about eight now. I didn't know there were any until I took all of my plants out of the tank to give it a good cleaning. If you have a cave or two and lots of plants, they do fine hiding and you don't need a breeding net. I tried the breeding net the first time I had a baby, but it was a lot of trouble and all of the others have done fine just hiding in the tank.

you got plants with cichlids? hows that going? im trying it at the mo!

i got plants ov rocks and plants i will have to hope for the best!

being mouth breeders i'm guessing it's the yellow labs.
These hatch afer 8-10 days and the mum carries them for a nother 14 days or so.

watch you angels as they will eat the fry given the slightest chance.

sorry i havnt updated that! i just got cichlids in my tank now! its not the yellow labs but they like them but blue lol? thanks i will keep eye on how they doing!
