This is a different breed that is allot larger. Mine are half Giants
A true giant could reach up to 7inches in length.

Goodby betta Section.

he's lovely, is he only in the jar temporarily? it just looks a little small for a giant is all. sorry, not trying to cause offense

Yeah just so i can keep an eye on him.
Setting up the divided tank today.

Good luck gill and i wish people could keep their opinions to themselves if they know that it will upset other members but never mind :/

The whole point of forums is that people have different opinions! Otherwise nobody would learn anything cus everyone would agree??
And as far as i can see no one called anyone anything on the thread?????

Since you want to try and black my name in public Gill, here is my reply

"hi, im sorry but after a detailed chat with my business partner we have got concerns that the giants to be sent to you are prob not the fish you require at the moment, this has stemed from your statement of cutting tails of damaged fish to help them heal better, this we do not agree with and since these giants have damage due to recent spawnings we do not feel comfortable sending them to you, sorry to tell you this but our bettas are the top of our concerns at all times, you money paid in by paypal will be refunded immediately."

modaz

this was the message i sent you Gill and we are in our rights to refuse the sale of any live fish in our retail outlet if we feel that the fish would be at any risk, we are governed by our local council and with in our license to sell live fish it is stated that we will not knowly sell a live animal to anyone who MAY be a risk. whether you like it or not we will not go against this policy, not because we fear the lose of our license but we fear the lose of our livestock due to inexperienced people who think that they have it all sorted in the way in which they choose to keep bettas. You claim to be advised by top breeders to sedate and trim your bettas and have done so on a few occasions, we DO NOT agree with this issue and this is why we rejected the sale, this is our right as much as it is your right to continue with your belief of what is good for the betta.

We are also aware that you have pm'd newbies to the betta world about doing this and encouraging them to do so to rid the betta of clamped fins, why should we sit back and sort out a statement sent from you to someone who is new to the hobby and then comes to us to ask if they should go ahead and do this, get your facts right before you make such statements to people because if i remember rightly you didnt even know the difference between what is finrot and what is regrowth on a previous thread which i had to correct before any newbie got confused. may i remind you of this Gill
