Lava Rock

Would this be suitable for my tank, I took some from Mt Etna on holiday and i't got nowhere better to go, so I was thinking of putting it in the tank, would it be a bad thing, a good thing or have no effect?

Should be fine. When I was a kid, my parents brought me back some Mt Etna rock, and it sat in an aquarium for years. Might float though.

Thanks, just put the rock in, was quite a big one so had no trouble sinking, the smaller one just floated so i've not bothered with that one, hopefuly none of my Khuli Loaches are buryed under in
