Latin names for fish

Hi all,

Just been looking on Trimars website, and when my tank is ready I think I will probably order some fish from them for my new community tank. I was just wondering whether anyone had any good suggestions for fish galleries where you can see pictures of most types of tropical fish (plecs, dwarf cichlids, etc) by typing in the latin name. I would like to see some pictures as I am not up on my latin names and to be honest, they don't mean a great deal to me .

They are scientific names not Latin names, the names can be written in Greek or Latin

Nothin' wrong with good old Google.

If you put the name in "speech marks" it gives more specific results.

If you're looking for any catfish Planet Catfish is an excellent resource. You can search by common or scientific name.
