Latest pics of my 10 gallon

Here are the latest pics of my 10 gallon tank. As time goes on, it gets better and better (I think) and more to my liking. I added a blue background last night and I like the way it looks. No pics of that yet. There also a breeder net in the tank now, and that doesn't look so great in photos

I agree! I have the background on and it looks good. No more wires showing! Yay! Yes, it is a real leaf. Somebody on this board, I can't remember who (smb? cm?) had a pic of leaves in their tank and I liked the idea so much I found the right kind of leaves and added some to my tank. My fish love 'em. They hid under them, rest on them, and the Plec checks 'em for any algae.

Thanks for compliments and nominations, guys!!!! I am *so* excited about 'em!!! Since I've found this forum I've wanted either a TOTM or FOTM nominations and I've finally gotten one (well, two!)! I found the nominations this morning - what a great way to start the day!

I love my 10 gal (and my other tanks too). On a daily basis I sit down and just watch it for awhile. It's so relaxing.

No, it can't be any leaf (so I've been told). Oak leaves and Beech (I think) leaves are okay. I think I was told Maple leaves are not okay. I have info about it bookmarked somewhere...:::digs through favorites folder::: :shakes head: Can't find the link(s) right now. I got the idea from someone else on this forum...there's a pic of that person's tank of KnuckleHead's web site. There is also a thread about it in the Aquariums Pics forum, as the discussion started up there when aformentioned person posted a picture of their tank with leaves in it. Confused yet?
