Finally found some great specimens at a good price

Here 'he' is.. about 2" of pure spottyness

Absolutely beautiful ! I've been eyeing up some LDA033 for quite a while now but I'd like 2 or 3 and as they are £25 each, they are not cheap so it might have to wait a few more weeks.

What plec (L number) is "Spot" ?

He is an LDA33 (or L142 if you'd prefer)

He's our most expensive plec - we paid full price for him - £27.

He's got the potential to be 10-12" of pure spottyness

I have 30 tanks now housed in the fish house, one of the spare bedrooms and the lounge but we still have another spare bedroom and its such a same not to use it on a daily basis

Ah I thought it looked a bit like an LDA033 - they are stunning indeed !
They are £25 here in London, so the £27 you paid is quite standard then it seems.
I'd love to have 3 of them but perhaps in a few weeks.....

I love the LDA033s, my one is currently having another growth spurt... It is around 4" at the moment.

Contemplating getting another as we have one at work but I have just lost £100 worth of zebra plecs (L173) and a Queen Arabesque (L260) to some bacterial problem that triggered whitespot and killed the 4 of them (just them in the tank).

Next pay day will be plec buying time...

Not kidding..I breed plecs and Malawi's. I am aiming to get some pics up this week so keep your eyes open
