Large tank

I will be building a large tank this winter or spring, somewhere in the neighbourhood of 325-370 gallons, and I want to make it a large community.
Here's my plan:
3 Senegal Bichirs
1 or 2 Black Ghost Knife Fish
8 Angelfish
4 Clown Loaches
Plecos
predatory catfish (whatever I can find around here thats suitable for the tank, no impulse buying, don't worry)
Any other suggestions are welcome.

That sounds awesome Just be sure the clown loaches can pass 5-6" before the senegals hit twelve I hear that BGKs fight, so you should just have 1, also, you should try a severum or two instead of angels (I think sevs work better in a semi oddball tank) I love my severum, they get around 8 inches and are very interacticve Good luck

Alternativeley you could go for about 300 neons?

Seriously though, there must be room for a few nice catfish in there. My first thought is Pim Pictus but they might not be big enough. I'm sure CFC could give you a list of latin names as long as your arm for what would go well in a tank like that.

I probably would just get 1 BGK, but I really want the angels. I love angels, just cant have enough of them, lol. I was gonna make it a small community, but I think a large community will be so much better. I'll PM CFC later when I've got more time. Thanks!

in that size tank you could have more like 30 angels which would look amazing.

the only problem is you would probable have to let the angels get near full size before adding the birchirs depending on what type of birchir as they would most likely become lunch.

pimp pictus would be too small to live iwht birchirs so you gof ro the next size up!! Ornate Pims!! they gorw to 1ft each instead of 6.

With lots of plants and massive lighting, you could something awesome!

With a tank that big, i would get a school of bala sharks, maybe 6 or 7, then a cleanup crew and something else, angels sound good. Maybe oscars

I was thinking about a massive school of angels. I might increase the size of my angel school as I feel the urge. I was thinking Oscars as well, but I figured they would snack on a lot of my fish. Also, regarding the angels getting near full size before the Senegal Bichir, I have 3 already that are about 5", so before I added any to the large tank, I would let them get nearly as big as my current ones, so as to prevent bullying. CFC, any thoughts on this?
