Large Blister

Hi

Im new here I have just registered, so hello all, my name is mands and I have a windsor 88 tank with mainly cichlids in.

I have a 6-7 inch Cichlisoma Pearsei with blisters on its front half they are quite big and on both sides of the fish, they also seem to have white gel coming out of them.


Is this white spot?

Is white spot bigger on larger fish?

How many gallons or litres is the tank.
Water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate, and ph.
Full stock list of fish in the tank.
The blister is it red can you describe it abit more.
Sounds bacterial though.
Can you issolate the fish as the puss coming out of it can infect the tank.

Hi. I had this when i bought some noens. They were in qaurenteen tank and 1 had that on top of his head. Died 2 days later and the blister had burst and like you described white gle/puss came out?? . I didnt know what it was so I treated tank for bacterial infection and left them in qaurentten for a furthere 4 weeks to make sure no other got it. Luckly they didnt.
