So, It didnt take long!
My female Labidochromis is holding fry! Or at least thats what I'm thinking!
Extended mouth, constant hiding and general shiftyness!
So, Ive bought one of these plastic fry holder floating tank thingies that sticks to the glass and I'm thinking the best bet is to strip her (ive been told after around 15 days)
Now the problem is that people say strip after 15 days from the date of mating, the problem being that Ive not seen them mating!
So, do I go 15 days from yesterday (the first day I noticed she had extended jaw - day before was normal) or do I just sit and wait til I see tiny fry swimming around? (probably not the best idea considering the amount of cichlids in the tank)
Ill post a video soon enough here on the forum when I can to help out other cichlid keepers new to the breeding/stripping thing.
