ive got 2 small ones and they are so great i love them!!! they have such awesome characters, they are in with a BIG pair of geophagus's but theyve got plenty of hide aways and caves so they are flourishing.. infact sometimes they tease the geo's gotta love em,
but yeah my tank is SO empty... its 120USgal and its got a pair of geo's and 2 small yellow labs...
i was thinking of getting 4 more, to make a little group of them, would this be ok ?

as these guys never clash with my geo's because they are mainly rock dwelling and such,

also any other sugestions for inhabitants in my tank? they would have to be able to stand up for themselves if they are freeswimming.

much apreciated =)

Getting 4 more would be great. Labidochromis Caeruleus do well in groups of 5 or more. they're also the least aggressive type of mbuna. so if your thinking of getting any others, your best off keeping with the less aggressive species.

However, i dont know much about Geophagus, but arnt they south american cichlids ? with different water/feeding requirements ? im not sure how things would turn out in the long run.

yeah but i am thinking of getting rid of them.. like in my other thread =)
