I have an L007 and he is far too thin. I want to get some weight on him since his first growth spurt has slowed/stopped now (almost doubled in size in a year!). All my other plecos are looking well fed and content but he is just thin! Any ideas? I feed catfish pellets, algae wafers, hikari sinking wafers, novo pleco vegatable chips and various other things. Live foods get fed but I doubt he gets a lookin with those in all honesty. What can I get to him that he can eat?

Try feeding some meatier foods also such as prawns etc as Leporacanthicus aren't true vegetarians.

He's currently sitting on a piece of potato, which he is rather fond of. I know they aren't veggies, hence the mix of foods I feed. I am hoping he'll have a better chance to reach all of the food in the smaller tank then he had in with the Malawis. But will certainly pick up soem prawns for him. Not hard since I love them myself!

Potato will help. I hear that people use that to negate the hollow stomach in newly arrived Golden Nugget Plecs.

He doesn't have a hollow stomach, he's just very thin. -_- Have just given him a piece of washed prawn, see what he thinks of that. The gouramies seem rather fond of it for sure. I know my bettas adore it so they'll get some later.
It's just unsettling, having so many fish, all healthy and well rounded and then this chap looking so thin and trying to commit suicide (oh yes, he did) and fidgety.
He actually jumped out of his tank last night sometime and, by sheer luck, I found him this morning on the glass sliders under the lid. :X He was still wet but looked dreadful. I never look under there! Not at 8 in the morning! Guess I heard his 'cry for help'.
