Kuhli Loaches

Took a first trip to my local Maidenhead aqautics today (well 30 miles away), found the shop well stocked and a very good variation of tropical and coldwater fish and a few marine as well. Anyway bought myself 10 more neons to go with my other 5 and bought myself 6 Kuhli loaches (6 for £10). What a fantastic little fish the Kuhli's are they are superb to watch darting around the tank and almost toying with my army of corys. A couple of hours ago they were digging underneath the ornaments to find a hiding space but as soon as i switched the lighs out they all come out darting around the tank. Just very nice to have something totally different in my community tank.

I have 4 kuhlis in my tank and love them...like you say they go mad when the lights are off lol..mine all sit staring at me from under a rock haha

Khuli loaches are great, and now that you have them I doubt you will ever want a tank without them again.
I have lost count of how many stripey khuli loaches I have, but I was pleasantly surprised yesterday to see 5 of my black khuli's out and about.

Certainly funny little guys, came doiwn this morning and put the room light on and all 6 were out rapidly swimming around, now that the tank lights are on only 1 can be seen but if i look closely under my volcano ornament i can see the others hiding in the sand below the volcano
