Kuhli Loaches

Does anyone have these guys in their tanks? I used to have them years ago but they seem to be quite scarce in the LFS. Also, are they pretty hardy fish? They always hide during the day so even if you do have them they're almost never in plain view.

I have black khuli loaches they are pretty active usually but im pretty sure that khuli loaches are less active than b.k. loaches. Khuli loaches may hide for a couple days and you might think they are dead but most of the time they are not. To answer your day time question khuli loaches prefer night or at least mine do. So check your tank at night to see those sneaky little buggers. If you have new loaches they will probably come out slightly more with time.

Hardy fish, im not sure mine are but we have different kinds. No loach likes salt so dont salt them. I wish i could give you more info.

khulis are the more active in bigger groups. they will constantly play(at least 1/2 will) if you have 10 or more, but are fine with 5.
