hi ive got a pair of kribs and noticed a strange behaviour from the male he has already cleared a patch of gravel and now hes shaking in front of the female is this courtship or just an over amorous fish behaviour please advise thanks :unsure:
 
Kribs are an African Cichlid. And, yes, id does sound like they are getting ready to breed. All the best to you. :good:

i was lead to believe these were new world as ive been told many times i couldnt mix the two together and was told these would be good in my community cichlid tank ,ive got 2 blue acara ,2rainbow cichlids,2 indian leaffish,2plecsand a german blue ram and all seem to get on really well,ive also got the 2 rainbow cichlids mating as well as we speak the female is laying eggs so ive got a busy time so fingers crossed all goes well think i may get a smaller tank and put the eggs in what do you think?
