Kribs With Bolivian Rams

Most definately. Just because they are the same species does not mean they will band together against the kribs. The krib's do not like to tolerate bottom dwellers. They kribs may not kill them, but they will be extremely stressed out.

crap, because i plan on having corys, bolivians, khuliis, and maybe a few other bottom dwellers, so are there any other african cichlids (not mbuna) that could be with other bottom dwellers?

that sucks, ill look around for some new ones then, would a pair of kribs be ok in a 17 gallon (long) tank?

I had this setup before i had 2 bolivian rams and 1 krib the female is less agressive and peaceful . the first week she was some what agressive but after she was acclimated to the tank she left them alone and would swim with the bolivian rams with no agression.. The male krib is the more agressive one.

ok, ill get the 17 gal ready for them, as soon as i can ill move them, but i have about 7 sq. feet of substrate, is that enough room that the bottom dwellers could move out of the way? because if at all possible id like to have them in my big planted tank.

What else is going to be in the 17 gallon? Bottom dwellers most likely will still be given hell in that tank.

no, the 130 gallon has about 8 sq ft of bottom surface area subtract 1 sq foot for the log, im wondering if thats enough room for them and other fish, the 17 gallon is sort of a last resort type of thing... if they were in the 17 gallon, id like maybe 1 or 2 more fish but i dont know what id put in it, probably top dwellers like gouramis though.

sweet, ill get on setting it up, im going to look at some american cichlids that i can have take the kirbs place.
