i have 2 kribs in my 10g (only temporarily), an albino male and regular female. they've been in there for about 2-3 weeks and the male just bullies the female around. is there a way to coax them into pairing? would getting a third krib help at all?
thanks

Your best bet is to get 6 young fish (3m 3f) and let them choose their own partners, if you want a good pair.

How old are the fish? How long have you had them for? Have either one of them spawned before? Are there plenty of hiding places?

+1 to Kitty Kat. Just watch the amount of space (if you got a bigger tank that might be of some help) and just keep an eye on your numbers. Kribs are a territorial fish and if you lots of kribs these territories will be broken down and not exist. Saying that if you don't have enough they will just keep trying to attack each other. If that makes any sense  hope that helps.

oh wow. wrong cichlid section. my bad!

i'm not sure how old they are but as i said, i've had them for a few weeks. i'm planning on upgrading them to a 29 gallon so hopefully that might help!

Yeah 10G is bit small I could get them breeding in 18G but nothing smaller

yeah i know. they'll be moving to a 29g at the end of the month

Get a new male and an extra female thats what has worked for me. But be careful while kribs are breeding they are ****NOT***** peaceful.
