Kribs Lifespan

i've read that a kribs' lifespan is 5 to 8 years.has anybody had any that have lived longer than that?

Im pretty sure a Krib lifespan is more like 3-5 years. I have never even ahd them live that long ( that i know of). Im sure someone could keep them for 8 years, if conditions wer PERFECT, and fed a perfectly balanced meal and everything. But as far as keeping a krib 8 years, even 5, in the normal fishkeeping hobby, is a mere dream.

a friend of mine asked me today how long mine would live so i googled it and somewhere it said 5 to 8 years.i've had mine for almost 2 years and i was just hoping somebody had some that lived longer than that.
