I've got a pair of Nigerian Red Kribs in my 5x2 community tank and have just spotted a clutch of eggs on the inside wall of the piece of plastic tubing that they now seem to be guarding. To my knowledge these would be the pair's first fry (assuming they hatch), but from what I've read I guess there's a high chance the parents will just consider them as food and if they don't my four Climbing Spotted Perch (Leopard Gourami) definitely will. I'm thinking I'll maybe try and remove the fry as soon as I spot them and put them in a small breeding tank that I've kept running ever since moving on the Honey Gourami fry that were raised in there. What do you think...worth a shot...any pointers?
