I have a female krib with three of her "babies" (they are almost a year old...) in a 55 gallon tank -- two females (including mom) and 2 males. One of the males and the mom are in the midst of "the breeding ritual" this afternoon so the other two are now getting chased around. They are much smaller than their sibling and I worry about their safety.
I can move them into a 29 gallon or the 38....the pH is lower in these tanks though...6.2 vs. 6.8 in the 55 gallon. Will they be fine with the pH that much lower? I really don't know what else to do with them other than give them to my favorite LFS - -which I would obviously prefer not to do.
