caught my female laying some eggs at the bottom of her cave then the male went in and fertilised them i think. they are small balls and sort of clearish yellowish. i have only had them 2 weeks and bought them purposely for breeding and i feel like i have achieved something massive haha. any hints or tips. the females ovarie or whatever you call it is right out thats how i knew so i had a look in their cave and there they were. i will try to get some pictures up soon.
any hints or tips welcome
thanks

Congrats!!

This is the 2nd thread today of Krib babies :hyper:

I'm definitely getting these when my tanks ready :)

haha be careful what you put in with them they get aggressive. they are still laying now there is about 10 on the floor of their little tresure chest and she is laying on the inside walls but i cannot see how many are there. they are taking turns going in and out haha. if you get them just feed them bloodworms for 2 weeks and keep them in good conditions and fry should be popping out haha. i will try and get some pictures but i dont want to disturb them just yet i may wait until tomorrow. i am so excited haha

Wow amazing! ... I would really love to see some pics :)

But yeah, think it's best to leave them too it .. give them a bit of privacy perhaps

oooo congrats!! i had my 1st ever wrigglers tonight its sooooo cool watching them swimming around with the parents

yeh i know my friends kribs had a small batch of 7 about 3 weeks ago and its increadable how good parents the kribs are and they grow quite rapidly aswel. the mum started to leave the fry a few days ago so he netted 4 and put them in the breeding trap and left 3 out to see which will grow fastest after 2 weeks obviously the ones in the tank but i think he just doesnt want to loose them which is why he has put some of them in.

i have just watched her pop onwe out straight onto the floor of the ornament. is this ok. there are about 10 on the floor of the ornament. can they do this because i thought they stuck them togtherer on the sides and top of the walls.
thanks

im gonna try both approaches this lot im gonna let nature take its course next lot im gonna seperate

i cant stop popping over to take a peek its my first time my egg layers have spawned. there are not as many eggs on the bottom of the ornament now is it possable she could have moved them to the roof. thanks

how long will it take for the eggs to hatch. most of the eggs have been moved from the bottom where i can see but i think she has put them by the wall. is this normal. also should i leave the light on until they hatch so the male and female krib can defend their eggs easier rather than in the dark.
thanks
