Sorry to ask another and another thread but no1 seems to answer in my other one the question is can anyone tell me?...after 42 hours roughly what should the eggs look like?

Its hard to see as there in the cave near the back but they seem, white/yellow and when they are mouthing them they seem to move with the motion of the water is that normal???

Hi I got a couple of these off a guy on ebay, he was very knowledgable about these and breeds them in a big way (albinos as well) he told me much the same as you describe so you must be doing it right, I am led to believe its a couple of days after they hatch before they show themselves, from what I have read on the net most (including me at the moment) dont get as far as this.
Good luck

Krib eggs should be yellow in color. If they are white , they are either infertile or they have fungus on them. They fan them to keep water circulation up, so the chance of fungus is down. The eggs usually hatch in 3 days. After that they will be in a wriggler stage, where they are hatched but they can't swim, and that will last 3 to 4 days, then they will be free swimming.
