Hey i have 2 kribs 1 male and 1 female * not a breeding pair * all the female seems to do is attack all my fish and the male aint bad hes chases the female and never go's for the tank mates .. will they be ok soon as they settle in?

Sounds to me like your 2ft tank is overcrowded? The fact that they can't each have their own territory might be why the female is feeling like she continually needs to fight for hers.

Maybe someone more experienced should look at his profile and give him some more info on this?

EDIT: I am right in thinking the firemouth and the Bolivian Ram are gonna want territories along with the female/male krib sharing a territory am I not? Oh, and you might not have intended to have a breeding pair but Kribs are not that fussy when it comes to who they mate with, you might hear the pitter patter of tiny fins soon :p

lol i doubt it the male dont like her at all... all he does it attack her very rare he swims with her so they wont ever pair up.

What size tank are these all in?

As it sounds as if there isnt enough space for all the fish to have territories of their own.

Mine were the same way, spent their time by themselves with the male chasing the female away most of the time she got close to him or entered 'his' cave, but as soon as the female began to display to the male nature took care of the rest.

How big are they just now? It could be that one or both of them are not sexually mature yet, could just be that it will take a period of adjustment for them to bond. I'm not saying 100% that you should expect them to breed, just that they don't have 'high standards' when it comes to picking partners and that you shouldn't be surprised if they do. -_-

But, I think more importantly at this stage; I would suggest talking to more people about what you have stocked in that 2ft tank. I think 4 dwarf cichlids is a bit much for that size of tank. And if the Kribs do manage to breed and have fry you will probably find that the other cichlids and your gouramis are gonna get a bit of a beasting from the adult Kribs. :/

Ok thanks all im going to take them back to the LFS as ive put them in a spear tank and all the fish are now happy and swimming around and my honey and dwarf gourami are pregnant YAY :fun:

don't get any yellow labs. your tank has all the territorial fish that can be fit in there with a crowbar--you're full.
