i have a 96L tank with 2 dwarf gourami, 6 silvertips, 5 black neons, 2 kribs and a blue phantom. I've had my eye on some gold rams since I first got my tank, although after reading up a bit I'm leaning towards bolivian rams as they're a bit easier for beginners. My question is would I be able to keep rams and kribs in the same tank? I do also have a 60L tank, if the kribs and rams not good together who (if any) would be best in the smaller tank?

thanks in advance!

From my experience I wouldn't suggest putting rams with kribs. Esp in that size tank. The factor here is space on the ground, and both need a substantial territory - and they will defend it with their lives. Kribs albeit the 'beginner's fish' are notoriously nippy and can be very aggressive and the smaller rams will come off much worse.
If you were going to keep them seperate then I'd put the rams in the smaller tank - they don't grow as large as the kribs.

Thankyou silverchild and damn that lfs! They said it would prob be ok, I would have not got the kribs cos I really wanted rams in the community tank...

Well, you live and learn I guess!
