Hi. I have two pairs of breeding Kribs, each in its own 10 gal tank. Each tank has two zebra danios as dither fish. Would it be okay to put two Ottos in each tank to eat the algae i.e. would the Ottos endanger either the parents or the future fry in any way? I want to protect the Kribs as they are my favorite fish at the present time. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

The Kribs would almost certainly kill or at least seriously stress the Otto's so i wouldn't reccomend it. You would need a catfish of a decent size to cope with Krib aggression and unfortunately your tanks aren't really big enough. :/

Kribs are Afican cichlids by the way.

Thank you for the information--it was just what I needed. Sorry about the wrong designation for the Kribs. I should have known better.
