Hi all, just seen that one of my father in laws kribs has a large white spot on its head, he said it’s been like it for a while. Is it cotton wool disease or something else? I have also it’s eye looks a bit swollen / cloudy. A905D723-5BEF-4CFE-84C9-B573B0CD67BA.jpeg2B8053C5-6D46-4C34-AD85-C18CA10FDC0D.jpegD4D0BB3E-D183-413E-B05D-BCCAAD037F0A.jpeg

Check water for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate.
Put in 1-2 heaped tablespoons of aquarium salt per 20L (5 gallons) of water and keep the salt in for 2 weeks.
When doing water changes, put in aquarium salt in the tank to keep salinity levels stable.
Before putting in the salt, do a 75% water change, wipe down tank walls and clean the substrate.
Perhaps @Colin_T might help and say more.
I hope the krib makes it.

Thanks salty, do you think it’s cotton wool disease? Or another kind of fungus, it’s difficult to photograph but it does look fuzzy

I'm not as good as @Colin_T at IDing a disease, but since it is fuzzy I'd guess its some kind of a fungus and salt should help in treating it.
