hi all, we have a female albino kribb,which we keep in a community tank she has been in the tank for about 1 1/2 years
without any problems, she became aggresive about a couple of months ago. we thought she might need some male company,
but she killed him, she is now started to kill off our other fish. as we dont want to loose her,can anyone help with any ideas ?

Does she gaurd one area of the tank ie, a cave of crevice or anything? (These are the sort of breeding sites for krib)
Has she got fatter recently? (could be full of eggs)
What size was the male you put her with? (It could be that she wants to breed but the male you put her with wasnt to her standards)

we gave her a cave ( coconut) she guards it with her life, the male was of equal size,but she killed him,she also killed a large female swordtail the other day.
her belly gets very colourfull.she is a bit of a psycho at the moment.

try a really large male. bigger then her.

Female kribs are crazy. They are very male finicky( if you give them the option). But, the rule for kribs is, always have a bigger male than female. Also, when inteoducing, rescape the tank.
