Fish Herder
hi everyone
a few weeks ago i bought a pair of adult kribs, put in a nice little house for them, and now i have fry! i don't know how old they are, but i htink they are about 4 - 5 days old. They have hatched, but not free swimming yet (seem to be feeding of their egg sacs still).
Parents are making me proud by doing such a great job at taking care of them
currently they are in a 25g with 4 danios, 1 guppy, 3 otos and 2 snails. It seems to be an okay set up
how for my question, when do i have to start feeding the fry? i assume they'll eat microworms right?
also, i feed the parents once a day with frozen bloodowrms (god how it chews a hole through my wallet), since i can't get them to eat anything else!
i never knew kribs were such fussy eaters, but they wont' eat sinking shrimp ellets, they dont' eat flakes, they dont' eat cucumbers, they dont' eat frozen brine shrimp. Everything OTHER than bloodowroms will be immediately spit back out and never touched again
any ideas to how i can get them to take in some dry food? healthy as frozen may be, i'm going to be poor!
