Hi,

I bought a krib female a few days ago. I then went to another shop and bought a krib male as I'm going to try to breed them. The male looks different to other krib male pictures I have seen, he has less colour on his body and his fins look different. He is almost full grown. Can anyone confirm that he is a pelvichromis pulcher and not some other species for example Pelvichromis taeniatus.

Here are some photos:

Thanks!

They will still breed. A kribensis is a Kribensis, no matter what color variety. The only reason they wouldnt breed, is if the female dosent like the male.
