Well, I just got a pair and The male has inhabited a pvc pipe in my tank for the moment.(Until my clown pleco comes back and finds him in there ). But anyway, I was wondering if I bought the pair a flower pot would they move out of the pvc and into the pot?

You can try it, but in my experience, kribs like pvc better, but if you take the pot and turn it upside down( the only opening is the draining hole), they might take that instead. Post pics!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Good Luck.

My male is about 3 inches long and he is the beauty of the two. Oh my gosh I wish I had a camera! I have to wait until my birthday. The female is about 2-1/2 inches. She's a little young and hasn't developed all of her red on her belly yet. I have a question for you kribensis12; if I had an albino with a regular would they mate and what color would they be? I really wish I had an albino.

They would pair up and breed. The babies would usually be 50% albino, 50%regular. I know someone, who had calico ones, he gave me one, but it died from the move.

How long would it take for a female to mature and color up?

She should is already mature, but maybe her eggs died and she hasnt made anymore yet.

I'm now starting to have doubts this is a female. Does the male usually chase her around? I wonder will Pet Supermarket trade it with a female?
