i had 3 kribs in a 20gal tank along with 4 albino cories, 2 of them were already a pair and have spawned a number of times.
The female krib that was left, used to get bullied by the paired kribs, i thought she was close to dieing at one point.
anyway, the female that was paired with the male died yesterday, so today i had changed the 20gal tank around, and put the male and female krib in my 39gallon tank, around 4hours have past, and the 2 kribs haven't left eachother

do you think they have paired?
or do you think that they are staying close to each other because they are in different surroundings?

thanks

Sounds like they've paired. Kribs are not fussy - i have known a pair spawn and successfully have fry, which were allowed to grow up in the same tank. The largest male offspring eventually killed the father and then paired off with the mother. :hyper:

My Kribs are at it every 4 weeks, in between the Hoplo's get a feast then the cycle starts all over again

They will spawn anywhere, ive removed the cave to try stop them but now they seem to have pulled leaves down to make a sorta nest and are at it again

lmao, i think kribs are facinating, i love watching them, i was gutted when i found my female, nearlly a tear in the eye

i don't mind if they spawn, more fry the merrier  lfs are always happy to take a few off my hands.

I can 99.9% garuntee you that they paired off. My female also died recently, and he paired of with the newer one. There must be a krib plaque or somthing.
