I introduced the female into the 55G today which already has a male krib in it.
Pretty cool stuff!! When they first came head to head they turned amazing colors and attacked each other a little then proceeded to go cruising around the tank at lightning speed!
After 15 minutes or so, things settled down and the male has been following the female around all day like a little dog. (not chasing, just following) His belly is as pink as can be and the female has turned a gorgeous color compared to what she looked like in the Qtank.
He'll follow her over to the cave on the left side of the tank and shiver outside the cave. She's as cool as a cucumber and just keeps grazing along the bottom.
Anyway, I know this is old school to some of you - but very exciting for me as I've not had kribs before or any fish that have paired off like that!
