Krib Fry...

Well this morning i could count at least 20, week old kirb fry. When i got in i had a quick look and they were still there. That was 2 hours ago. Now it seems the parents have just left them to be eaten by the angels!
I did a quick 10l water change for the new arrival (GN pleco) and added some easycarbo, when i got in. Just checked the stats and nothings changed
Maybe just a bad batch?

My fish are acting strange. All my tetra are at the top. Wierd And the l333's and BN are popping to the top quite alot, every 5-10 mins. Oxygen related?

Whats going on? Arggghhh
I started a week course of melafix yesterday. Could that be something todo with it?

Hmm, I thought Krib parents had the potential to be nightmares while guarding fry in community tanks (main reason I never seriously considered them for my mainly African riverine theme), which under normal circumstances could explain the odd behaviour of your other fish getting forced away from the bottom of the tank...

What are you treating with Melafix? I was under the impression it is as safe as houses, whereas other meds needs half doses for present fry.

I haven't had problem with them so far. The angels stick to there side the tank and the kribs do the same. The fry were left alone and went wandering! Just a bit baffled as the tetra are now sitting at the top.
