Hi

My Kribs have moved there fry from there spawning cave to out in the open is this a normal thing for them to do. there not free swimming yet there still at the wiggling stage. both the kribs still seem to be looking after them and there the only fish in the tank. Is there anything to be worried about. I have only had the kribs for about two weeks. so this is the first time i have had kribs spawn as i have never owned Kribs before.

Also when is the best time to start feeding the fry, they have only been in the wiggling stage for about a day.

Thanks

Tony

The fry are free swimming in about 5 to 10 days. Once fry are free swimming, they can be fed finely crush flakes, and newly hatch brine shrimp. If the tank is mature, there should be enough organic matter for the fry to eat. The parents also assist in feeding the young by spitting food to the fry.
