On my koran Angel, he has these white spots on top of him, like grains of salt together, a couple on top and 1 on his fin. it seems like it is eating away his fin. Is this ich, and if so how do i treat it? im trying to get pics up but i can seem to get a good picture

My cleaner shrimp trys to clean it and it seems like its either tickling the angel or hurting him. These spots have started to go away since the cleaner shrimp has been cleaning him a lot

Likely a parasite of some kind. Hope the cleaner shrimp does his job, yikes

iv, been reading up on it and it looks like its a ich, how do you get ride a ich?

Could also be lymphocystis which is a rarely-fatal viral disease very common on disc-shaped marine fish, especially angels. They look like ich when small, and like egg sacs when large. If these are removed by the cleaner shrimp the wounds could become infected.

If it is ich, the cleaner should take care of it. Alternatively, the fish could be given a freshwater bater, which involves placing the fish in a bucket of pure water with the same temperature as the angel's home tank for about five minutes.

yea, when i put my cleaner shrimp in it, he went streight to the shrimp and the shrimp started cleaning right away. After he seem to be doing Good, but he still has these white things on his right fin and on his back, not as bad on his back but his fin looks bad.
